Privacy Policy

When you use PreEndorse we collect:

• Your answers to the questionnaire, including your business idea, technology, competitors, finances and hiring plans.
• Documents you choose to upload as evidence, such as letters of intent, proof of funds, legal advice or product demos (PDF, PNG or JPEG).
• Your email address, so we can send your report.
• Payment confirmation from Stripe. We never see or store your card details; Stripe handles them on its own checkout page.
• Your IP address, used briefly to limit repeated requests and prevent abuse.

We use your answers and uploaded PDFs only to produce your audit report, to deliver it to you, to let you re-run it, and to deal with support requests. We don't sell your data or use it for marketing.

• Google (Gemini API) analyses your answers and uploaded PDFs, and runs web searches about your market and competitors. We send requests with storage turned off. Under Google's terms for the paid Gemini API, Google does not use this data to train or improve its models, but may keep it for a limited period to detect abuse.
• Supabase stores your answers, saved drafts, uploaded documents and finished reports.
• Vercel hosts the website. Upstash runs our job queue and request limits.
• Stripe takes payment.
• Our email provider receives your email address and report PDF in order to deliver them.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on safeguards approved under UK GDPR, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

• Uploaded documents: deleted automatically 90 days after upload. A re-run after that asks you to attach them again.
• Drafts you never submit: deleted 30 days after you last edit them. Your browser also keeps a copy on this device; clear this site's browser storage to remove it.
• Submitted answers and finished reports: kept so you can download your report again and re-run your audit, until you ask us to delete them.
• Payment records: kept for as long as UK tax law requires.

We treat your business idea and technical details as confidential. Only the providers listed above see them, and only so we can produce your report. Your report is available only through the private link we email you.

This site uses no advertising or analytics trackers. Your theme preference and questionnaire draft are stored in your browser. Stripe sets essential cookies on its checkout page. Report emails have no open or click tracking.

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it at any time. Email info@preendorse.com. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
